AI Readiness Check

Check your readiness before you automate.

The AI Readiness Check is a four-minute diagnostic of how your operation runs today. It returns a 0-100 readiness score, your top three gaps, priority opportunities and a recommended next step.

Most AI initiatives stall because the workflow, data or systems underneath were never ready. The AI Readiness Check shows where that is true in your operation before you commit budget.

The problem

Why most AI initiatives stall

The same three patterns show up across the operations we review:

  • Tools before direction

AI subscriptions are bought before anyone has mapped where AI fits in the day-to-day work, so they go largely unused.

  • Scattered data

When operational information sits in spreadsheets, email and separate apps, AI has nothing reliable to work from.

  • Automating the wrong things

Automating a process that is already unstable makes it fail faster. Fix the workflow first, then automate it.

The AI Readiness Check shows which of these apply to your operation before you spend on tools.

The method

What the AI Readiness Check looks at

The check is framed by AI Launchpad's five operational dimensions. Each one asks a question the operation has to answer before AI is worth deploying.

  1. How your processes work Workflow Reliability

Are your workflows clear and consistent? AI works best when there's a repeatable process to build on, not a different approach every time.

  2. How your team thinks about AI Operational Adoption

Does your leadership team have a clear vision for AI? Are employees open to change? Mindset matters just as much as technology.

  3. The state of your data Data Accessibility

Is your business information easy to find and use? Poor data quality is one of the biggest reasons AI projects fail.

  4. Your current technology System Compatibility

What tools and software are you already using? We check whether they can connect with AI systems, or whether upgrades are needed first.

  5. Your business goals ROI Feasibility

Is the return measurable, and is it worth the rollout effort? We weigh operational impact against implementation risk.

At the end you have a score, the three gaps holding the operation back, the opportunities worth pursuing and a recommended next step.

The next step

The paid next step: the AI Workflow Blueprint

A readiness score shows where you stand. The AI Workflow Blueprint sets out what to do about it: a two-week, consultant-led engagement in which we:

  1. Map how the operation actually runs

Workflows, handoffs and review cycles, and the points where time and accuracy are lost.

  2. Identify where AI adds measurable value

Not every task needs AI. We separate what to automate, what to fix first and what to leave as it is.

  3. Deliver an implementation blueprint

A sequenced plan with the ROI logic behind each step, not a generic report.

No technical background is needed. The work is built around how your operation runs, what slows it down and what you want to improve. What the Blueprint includes

Who it is for

Who the AI Readiness Check is for

It is written for owners and operations leaders who:

  • Are under pressure to act on AI and want evidence of where to start
  • Have bought AI tools that did not change how the work gets done
  • Run operations where delays, rework and manual steps carry a measurable cost
  • Want a practical plan, not a tool recommendation

It does not need a technical team. The questions are about how the business runs, not about code or infrastructure.

FAQ

Questions about the AI Readiness Check

Still have a question? Email us and we will reply within one working day.

How does the AI Readiness Check work?

You answer up to 13 multiple-choice questions about how your operation runs, branched by your industry. Each answer is rated on a five-level scale, and the ratings are averaged into a 0–100 readiness score.

What does the AI Readiness Check look at?

Ten operational areas, among them how AI is used today, customer communication, documents, approvals, system integration, data and two workflows specific to your sector. They follow our five operational dimensions. Your score is the average across the ten areas.

Do I need a technical team to take part?

No. The check is written for business owners and operations leaders. It asks how your business runs, not about code or infrastructure.

What is the AI Workflow Blueprint?

The Blueprint is a separate two-week, consultant-led paid engagement that follows the AI Readiness Check. We map your workflows, identify where AI adds measurable value and deliver a sequenced implementation blueprint.

How much does the AI Readiness Check cost?

Nothing. The AI Readiness Check is complimentary. Only the consultant-led AI Workflow Blueprint that can follow is paid.
